Nail Care!

Your Nails are not tools!
~ Picking, peeling, and pulling at things with your nails can easily break them faster. Act as if you have wet nail polish on and treat them with care.

Water Exposure!
~ Warm water, or water in general, can damage your nails. Your nail has layers of  keratin that will start to separate and lead to peeling. Wear gloves when doing dishes to prevent damage.

Even if its Pretty:
~ Doing your nails and making them beautiful everyday is a lot of fun, but if you do them to much your nails start to turn a yellowish color. You have to let your natural nails breath for a day or so.

Base Coat:
~ Always apply a base coat. It protects your natural nail and improves the quality of your nail.

Healthy Cuticles:
~ Keeping your cuticles healthy leads to stronger and healthier nails. If you neglect them, you could potentially get an infection. That means no biting, picking or peeling at your nails. Don't pick off a hang nail but carefully clip it off with a nail clipper.

Eating:
~ You wouldn't think that what you eat affects your nails, but it does. Eating foods that are high in Vitamin B, Iron, potassium, etc. Can help in keeping stronger and healthier nails.
